TAMER PROTOTYPE WEBSITE origin was as a general contractor in the construction of buildings.  Since the 1980’s we have completed numerous projects on buildings ranging in size from 5,000 to 50,000 square feet. 

In our early years, we performed many of the trades in-house. However, in today's competitive economy it is often more cost effective to subcontract these skills rather than perform them ourselves. 

While TAMER PROTOTYPE WEBSITE is currently more focused on heavy highway and site construction projects, our ability and effectiveness to general contract a complete building from start to finish remains a real strength.

Simply stated, Roads & bridges are now the main focus of TAMER PROTOTYPE WEBSITE.  While our early years were spent as building and site contractors we have since evolved into primarily a heavy highway / site contractor.

We maintain a capacity rating of 44.7 million dollars with the CT Dept of Transportation and we have completed many road and bridge projects under this authority. 

Bridge projects we've completed include the Boston & Maine Railroad Bridge in Killingly, the Freshwater Road Bridge in the Town of Enfield and the Old King Street Bridge in the Town of Enfield in addition to many others. 

A recent highlight for major road construction projects is Route 44 on Avon Mountain.  This is a 13+ million dollar project on a heavily traveled highway.  Work includes complete storm drainage and realignment for safety improvements.
